About Us

Moorabbee Lodge is located on a peninsula overlooking Lake Eppalock with sites taking advantage of water views and incredible sunsets.

Historically, we have offered boat launching facilities for fishing and general water sports.

We are located just 1.5 hours from Henry Bolte Bridge, Melbourne, and are situated on Lake Eppalock, in one the most famous wine making regions in Australia, if not the world.
Heathcote is 10 minutes away & is a delightful historic town with the longest main street in Victoria.

You will find numerous cafes, bakeries, an art gallery, a gin distillery, brewery, wine enoteca, pubs & many great events e.g an annual film festival, agricultural show & so many fantastic winery & music events such as the famous Sanguine Estate Music Festival, Heathcote Wine Festival and more.

It's such a friendly place with a Super IGA fresh food market & top local butcher.

Recreationally, there are the O’Keefe Bike Trail (the O’Keefe Challenge) & top golf courses (complete with kangaroos).

How It Works

Due to the nature being an Annuals Park, friendships become a large part of our Park and sense of community. Over time there have been many generations coming to Moorabbee Lodge.

The benefits of owning an annuals site are endless. It’s not just the lure of an affordable holiday hub that is attracting families, but as any parent on holiday knows, if the kids are happy and occupied, everyone is happy.

Moorabbee Lodge Patrons basically own the structure on the site i.e. cabin or caravan/annex and pay an annual fee to occupy the site for holiday use. The fee, in most cases, covers the cost of your family using the site, water and electricity, together with maintenance of all facilities. Patrons are responsible for the maintenance of their individual site.

Patrons have 24 hour access through our remote control gate system except for six weeks each year when shut down occurs.
The Park charges a $1,000.00 transfer fee to ensure smooth transfers and includes advertising on our Website and Facebook Group to facilitate the sale.

We are currently carrying out a program of providing sewerage to each individual site. Compliance Certificates are compulsory before connecting to the system. We are also conducting a major fire service upgrade as required by the CFA/Bendigo City Council.

Patrons are permitted fire pits at times of no fire ban to the approved CFA specification. Pets are not allowed – we love our amazing wildlife here at Moorabbee Lodge.
